We’ll get clear on what a brand is, why it matters to your business, and how to avoid the branding mistakes entrepreneurs often make. Then we’ll work to define and understand both your target market and your competition.
The next step is about defining your features and benefits (and understanding the distinction between them). We are also going to work on identifying what makes you different from your competition and how to tell your story in a way that emphasizes them and creates connection with your customer.
Brand chemistry at its most powerful taps into your underlying motivations for what you do every day. In this module, we’ll get clear on your WHY and you’ll learn how to communicate it from a place of authenticity. We’ll also start working on your brand personality – a set of human characteristics that will factor into the visual expression of your brand.
We’ll use the work you’ve done so far to create your brand position, which is a high-level ‘opening line’ that you’ll use in your marketing materials, on your website and when you speak about your business. This exercise is all about harnessing the power of words to convey the most important aspects of your business.
If your brand position is like your ten-second elevator pitch, your brand essence is your business’s heart and soul, summed up in a few words. We’ll distill down all your work to come up with these intriguing, thought-provoking few words that express your uniqueness, authenticity, and difference.

Do I get a logo as part of Brand Camp?
No. Brand Camp takes you through all the (essential) work you need to do BEFORE creating a logo, to ensure your new visual identity hits the right notes, attracts the right people, and will help you grow your business.
If you’d like our help to create your new visual identity once you’ve completed Brand Camp (as a large percentage of Brand Camp graduates do!), we’d be thrilled to work with you.
Our branding packages are comprehensive and include a mood board, colour palette and, in addition to a gorgeous logo, a business card design, social media profile images and brand guidelines and anything else you might need designed like a website, signage, presentations etc…
Do I have to hire you to create my logo afterwards?
Not necessarily. You can absolutely take the work you’ve done in Brand Camp to another designer and ask them to create a logo based on your brand foundation and essence. That said, make sure you choose one that will use your foundation to develop your visual identity.
Also, it’s not ALL about the logo. Brand Camp will change the way you feel, talk and approach your business – and pay off (in a big way) even if you don’t go forth and create a new visual identity right away.
Can more than one representative from my business attend?
For this particular weekend workshop, we have room for one attendee per business only – specifically the owner/founder. If you wish to involve a larger group, please reach out about a private Brand Camp workshop.
What happens if I can't make it to the event?
We understand that sometimes life happens. We will do our best to accommodate you at a future event (if there is room) or provide an alternative solution that works for everyone!
I'm flying or driving in from out of town. Where can I stay?
Our out of town participants have stayed at The Broadview Hotel which is conveniently located right around the corner from us.
Do I need to come for both days?
Yes! It is imperative that everyone one is there for the entire weekend.
Is there a refund policy?
If you sign up for Brand Camp and decide it’s not for you, simply let us know within 24 hours of purchase to receive a full refund.
