“Focus. Inspiration. Clarity. Those are the three things provided by Laura from Lab Creative in our recent experience. When we were trying to establish a brand, a few meetings with Laura combined with her online Brand Camp helped us quickly nail down our brand essence, brand position, and so much more.”Brian Lenahan, CEO, Aquitaine Innovation Advisors & Co-Founder, Rainmaker AI
“Brand Camp gave me a forum to refine my brand message and develop a clear value proposition. It forced me to do some dedicated thinking about my brand - which was surprisingly difficult. Laura and the others in my camp sessions were really helpful by providing me with their "outsider" perspectives.”Cheryl Byrne, Leadership Coach and Consultant
MODULE 1 - LAUNCH
In this module, we’ll get clear on what a brand is, why it matters to your business, and how to avoid the branding mistakes entrepreneurs often make. Then we’ll work to define and understand both your target market and your competition.
MODULE 2 - SPARK
This module is all about defining your features and benefits (and understanding the distinction between them). We are also going to work on identifying what makes you different from your competition and how to tell your story in a way that emphasizes them and creates connection with your customer.
MODULE 3 - IGNITE
Brand chemistry at its most powerful taps into your underlying motivations for what you do every day. In this module, we’ll get clear on your WHY and you’ll learn how to communicate it from a place of authenticity. We’ll also start working on your brand personality – a set of human characteristics that will factor into the visual expression of your brand.
MODULE 4 - MAGNETIZE
In this module, we’ll use the work you’ve done so far to create your brand position, which is a high-level ‘opening line’ that you’ll use in your marketing materials, on your website and when you speak about your business. This exercise is all about harnessing the power of words to convey the most important aspects of your business.
Module 5 - Distill
If your brand position is like your ten-second elevator pitch, your brand essence is your business’s heart and soul, summed up in a few words. In this module, we’ll distill down all your work to come up with these intriguing, thought-provoking few words that express your uniqueness, authenticity, and difference.
“Brand Camp broke the concepts of branding down into manageable chunks, making it easy for an inexperienced person like me to understand and implement in my own business. It helped me refine my thinking and gave me much more confidence. Naturally I wanted to work with Lab Creative when I was ready to take action on what I took away from my Brand Camp experience.”Melanie Hill, Vibrant Work
“Brand Camp allowed me to discover my true vision for my clinic. It allowed the ideas in my head to come to life.”Dr. Maria Papasodaro, ND, Nature’s Touch

“My business was in limbo. After 10 years, I did not have a clear idea what direction I should be taking to set myself apart and acquire my ideal client. The 5-week Brand Camp course was immensely eye opening and I now have a clear and concise brand moving forward. I’m very excited to introduce my new brand and business model. Fabulous learning experience.”Maureen Coates, Luxury Transitions
Do I get a logo as part of Brand Camp?
No. Brand Camp takes you through all the (essential) work you need to do BEFORE creating a logo, to ensure your new visual identity hits the right notes, attracts the right people, and will help you grow your business.
If you’d like our help to create your new visual identity once you’ve completed Brand Camp (as a large percentage of Brand Camp graduates do!), we’d be thrilled to work with you.
Our branding packages are comprehensive and include a mood board, colour palette and, in addition to a gorgeous logo, a business card design, social media profile images and brand guidelines and anything else you might need designed like a website, signage, presentations etc…
Do I have to hire you to create my logo afterwards?
Not necessarily. You can absolutely take the work you’ve done in Brand Camp to another designer and ask them to create a logo based on your brand foundation and essence. That said, make sure you choose one that will use your foundation to develop your visual identity.
Also, it’s not ALL about the logo. Brand Camp will change the way you feel, talk and approach your business – and pay off (in a big way) even if you don’t go forth and create a new visual identity right away.
I don’t have much time. How long does Brand Camp take?
Not long! If you set aside a couple of hours a week, the course is doable in under a month. That said, it is self-directed so you can go as quickly or as slowly as you like (and come back to it again and again as your business grows and evolves).
When does the one-on-one with Laura take place? Is there a time limit?
Your 2 hour video call or in-person meeting with Laura will take place once you’ve completed all Modules. Booking instructions for this call will be communicated inside the course. You can use the Facebook group to ask any questions you have while working through the modules.
Is there a refund policy?
If you get inside Brand Camp and decide it’s not for you, simply let us know within 48 hours of purchase to receive a full refund.
Have more questions? Please feel free to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
“The course is set up as self-directed, work at your own pace, which is perfect to integrate into a busy life. Laura’s videos were very informative and provided all the information necessary to figure out my brand. It’s also the process or the progressive steps of the course which makes the brand become so clear.”Nichol Turner, Nickel Events
“I signed up and diligently worked through Lab Creative's Brand Camp. It was obvious to me the work I did there would fuel the rest of the work to come. The work I do in my practice means a lot to me and Laura was able to help me get those benefits, feelings and values into words. That lead to renaming my practice, the creation of a brand, my brand, that reflects me and what I do.”Michael Hagely, Bearing
